Memphis's Orthodox Jewish community is centered in East Memphis, where three vibrant congregations are located within or near the neighborhood — all warm, welcoming, and deeply connected to the wider MHA family.

Baron Hirsch Congregation is the cornerstone of Memphis's Orthodox Jewish community, one of the oldest and largest Orthodox congregations in the Mid-South. The shul offers daily minyanim, Shabbat and Yom Tov davening, adult education programs, youth groups, and a full range of lifecycle services.
Baron Hirsch is also home to the community's mikveh and keilim mikveh, and hosts the weekly status update for the Memphis Eruv, which is jointly administered and supported by all the Jewish communities, rabbis, and volunteers of Memphis. The shul maintains a full schedule of Torah classes and shiurim for men, women, and families throughout the week.
